Thank you to the 90 of you who completed our Isla Palenque survey last month. We’ve been busily compiling your responses and we’ve already learned a lot. It good to know what’s important to you and what isn’t. Here are a couple of quick examples:

-          77% of you said you’d be willing to pay more for a resort that maintained a wildlife or nature preserve.

-          60.8% for an organic farm on site.

-          Only 40.5% would pay more for a resort that got most of its electricity from on site solar or wind power sources.

-          93.2% of you use the internet when making your travel choices.

-          You were split almost 50/50 between wanting “a home with several bedrooms/baths so I can entertain friends and family” and “a one or two bedroom home big enough for myself and a significant other.” So I guess we’ll definitely have to offer both!
